The Triplet's Names

I have wanted to be a mom since, well always.  It seems there was always a mental list of future baby names.  After getting married, the list became physical and was edited often.  So as soon as we were pregnant we had an instant boy and girl name...or at least I did!  We never imagined we would need three!  We eventually had three boy and three girl names on hold just waiting to find out the gender of our little ones.
If you read back to the Gender Revelation post (which still needs pictures, eek!) then you can see we knew we were having two girls.  We had to wait on our little man because he didn't cooperate at the first ultrasound.  I am ALL about names with meaning, so here is the breakdown of the trips names!

Dane Damery - Well, Dane is my dad's name.  My mom always talked about how she would have tried to name her son Dane, but dad wouldn't let her.  She never really had the option!  Also, it fits my other name criteria
1. Name cannot be in top 500. We want uncommon names.
2. Must be easy to pronounce and spell
3. Avoid negative name association
Moving on...Damery is David's middle name.  It is his mom's maiden name and we cannot wait for Great Grandma and Grandpa Damery to see the triplets.  They are in Illinios so we are hoping the trips are out of the NICU and could see them for Thanksgiving!

Estelle Jean - My Grandma Mancino was an extraordinary person.  I can't even explain.  It is a privilege to be her granddaughter.  I look forward to hearing the laughter when my kids hear the funny things she used to do and be inspired by her selfless generosity. Estelle was her middle name :) Jean comes from another amazing woman who embodies the same characteristics as Grandma Mancino, probably because she is her daughter.  Jean is my mom's middle name and I couldn't be more proud for my daughter carry it on.  (incidentally, Jean is also my middle name)

Betsy Lynette - Earlier I said that I had instant names.  They are above and luckily, David liked them too!  However, for baby girl number 2 Daddy got more say.  There were two girl names we needed to decide between, and David picked Betsy.  Knowing her little personality now, and even in the womb, it fits perfectly!!  Little personality gives the wrong impression, she is little but feisty!  We loved the idea of our girls having their grandma's names, and so Lynette is David's mom's middle name.  I never really gave a lot of thought to who my mother-in-law would be...but am now aware of what an important relationship it is.  I lucked out MAJOR.  David's mom is one of the warmest most loving people I have ever known.  She welcomed me into the family instantly and has shown nothing but unconditional love and support to David and I.

Side note: David has decreed that Estelle shall not be called Stella (name association) but rather her nickname, if necessary will be Elle :)
