We have so many wonderful updates and I have found it extremely easy to view God working in our lives. Throughout the course of this adventure there were several times I caught myself wondering why all this was happening to us. People would say God doesn't give you more than you can handle, but I frequently told God that I could not handle anymore! But lately, as time passes and things improve, it becomes easier to look around and be humbled by how He was watching over us.
Weather- First off, it has been unseasonably warm this winter. Our house is drafty, and I was concerned about keeping heat in and our babies comfortable. In addition, it is a miracle that a big snow or ice storm didn't keep us separated from our babies when they were in the NICU or make travel to doctors appoints more challenging.
Meals- Thank you notes are piling up...but for now can I just say THANK YOU to Barnes Home Health, Mary Hendricks, The Tomberlins, McKeons, Tracy Rosson, Stephanie Milosevich, Amanda Shank, The Streifs, The Davis Family, Beth, Aunt Mary Anne and Monica, The Bartholomews, and everyone for food and prayers!!
Bubs- Praise the Lord! Our trip the OKC to see the nephrologist revealed his blood pressure is normal!! I love having one less med...and one less worry. (Also, we have kind and beautiful friend who happens to be a NICU nurse that allowed us to leave Betsy and Estelle and make the trip.)
Betsy- After an extremely rough adjustment to home, Betsy has made huge strides the past few days. The goal is to have her take 65mL by bottle about every 3 hours. She has gone from around 25 to 50-55mLs AND she happier :) She soothes easier and we are leaning her cues. Incidentally, we can tell the babies cries and noises apart!
Estelle- I think God new that with triplets, one needs to be low maintenance, and that is Estelle. Sweet girl only cries when she is hungry, puts herself to sleep, has no feeding issues and can entertain herself when chaos ensues around her.
Nanny- We were very nervous about hiring someone we did not know personally to help at night with the kids. However, our worries were put to rest and I truly feel God placed these young women in our lives. We can not believe how lucky we are!
Ellen :) Last but not least, if everything else is spiraling out of control...I thank God that Ellen is on at 3:00 because she can lighten the mood and brighten my day regardless of endless poopy diapers and screaming children!
Feeling blessed and off to watch Emma Stone on Ellen!!
