1 month!!

Proud to announce all of our children are OVER 3 LBS!!

Dane 3 lbs 15 oz (he is going to break the 4 lb mark by the end of the week)
Estelle AND Betsy 3 lbs 2 oz

  Another amazing development, Dane and Estelle have come off the CPAP and both on just a nasal cannula!!!  The difference?  From what I understand the CPAP actually applies pressure opening their lungs and creating breaths for them, but the nasal cannula just provides a constant flow.  The best part about this change is that we can see their faces!!  No mask.  No hat.  No squished faces :)

These awesome monthly onesie stickers arrived in the mail today!

 It was difficult to find three coordinating patterns in the appropriate colors, but www.etsy.com came through!  My older sister, Dawn, is also our photographer.  She has a fancy camera and volunteered to take their picture every month!  We are going to use the stickers in a photo shoot this weekend, but for now here are my pictures of the littles ones yesterday on their actual one month birthday!!

Betsy is still on CPAP, but she is doing really well!  All the trips had an eye exam which involved dilating drops that made their little eyes red and puffy.  Not nice on their 1 month birthday!!  They were also scheduled to receive their Hepatitis shot, but I had that postponed till tomorrow.

If you didn't know, Estelle and Betsy are NOT identical.  They already have very distinct looks.  For example, Estelle is longer and Betsy has bigger lips!
