We have a three pounder people!! 3 lbs 1 oz to be exact! Saturday we found out baby Dane hit this big milestone,we are super pumped! What's even more amazing is his littlest sister, Betsy, is out eating him :) She is on FULL feelings, meaning no supplemental calories through an IV. In fact, they pulled out her picc line. Yay for tube removal! And speaking of tube removal- they are all off the ventilator. HOORAY!! Dane and Estelle came off the same day, then Betsy decided she didn't want to be left out and extubated herself. Gave the nurses quite a scare but has been rocking her CPAP. David and I love that they don't have the breathing tube in their throat anymore, just the little one for feedings.
If that isn't enough good news, each baby has now been held :) Post with pictures coming tomorrow. Also, my husband is pretty incredible. Delivery day photos will be added to his post as well!!
P.S. Estelle is doing awesome too. Just moving along steady on her feedings and consistent on her CPAP :) She and Dane should be on full feedings within the next few days!
