We would be broke if he didn't keep me in check :) Hopefully soon the babies will be able to start wearing clothes. Right now doctors want to focus on stabilizing their respiratory status and tolerating feedings before having them also work on maintaining their body temperature.
Here is the current weight breakdown:
Dane 4 lbs 6 oz
Estelle 3 lbs 12 oz
Betsy 3 lbs 5 oz (little Betsy's weight reflects the fact her feedings were stopped when they suspected infection. Luckily her blood culture has been negative and they have slowly reintroduced feedings, but are keeping her on IV fluids. The only thing worse than getting an IV is seeing one in your 5 week old baby.)
Look at the sweet designs our nurses drew on their white boards! It's the little things :)
And here are our little pumpkins on their first Halloween! They squint their little eyes when I take their picture. The flash is off, but even that little orange light is enough to startle their sensitive eyes...making me feel so bad!!

Looking forward to many triplet themed Halloween costumes in the future AND trick-or-treating with these adorable bugs!!
