9 Week Weight Update

On Tuesday the triplets were 9 weeks old!  We can't believe we have two month old babies.  As far as weight, we are happily packing on the pounds.

Dane - 6 lbs 8 oz
Estelle - 6 lbs 8 oz!!  She has been gaining on him all week :)
Betsy - 5 lbs 6 oz

Noteworthy:
Results of Dane's echo were completely normal!!  It is also important to document that he is now referred to as 'Bubs'.  No real rhyme or reason, but David and I now rarely call him by his name.  The  doctor is still watching for signs of the hernia.
Betsy's respiratory rate is still high but we are so fortunate that St. Francis has a pediatric pulmonologist that has come in to see her.  He recommended a few tests, one of which tested for reflux.  She has been spitting up lately and he said there can be some correlation.  After having a ph probe for 24 hours the results confirmed what our nurses already knew.  She is now on Zantac and also albuterol breathing treatments.  I love that our doctors are proactive.  We just want to get her some help!!  Let's fix this so she isn't so uncomfortable and doesn't have to work so hard.  Praying we see some improvement soon.
Second round of shots are over.  Our sweet nurse suggested they do both shots at the same time so they don't get stuck then stuck again.  She stayed past shift change to have her and another nurse give the two shots at the exact same moment.  Estelle took these the hardest, but fully recovered.  She and Dane came off their cannula today!  That good news really rejuvenated me this morning.  Feeling a renewed determination towards breastfeeding, which has been frustrating to say the least.

Working on a feeding post as well as the Thanksgiving post AND I still need a nursery one too.  Eeek!
